a year ago last august my huband went to work ( 21 years same place) where he was the director of the hospital pharmacy.. he was escorted out by security. they gave hom some lame excuse about program changes but he was devastated.. he had a spotless employment record and was beloved by the entire community... 55 and no job. he immediantely hired an employment lawyer that said even though he was screwed royal they are entitled to let him go. My advice.. get an employment lawyer even just a consult. cost us 700$ for the meeting but they told him to go for more severence.. which he did and he got. still hurt his ego terribly. Got a job 6 hours away where we saw each other on weekends for 8 months.. now working 90 miles away but commutes home every night. It will get better but there will be some times where you want to just give up. hang in there.
