(38,206 posts)ironically, lol. I live in the Bible Belt. I can't imagine a beautiful world where I would be free to answer that I am not Christian and not get preached at by everyone around me until I find some way to escape them. It is overbearing here. They were taking up way too much of my time preaching at me. It just made me more anti-Christian for the longest time. Now, I just don't answer them and keep on going. I find that works the best. If they keep hassling me, they learn real quick like that I'm not going to take their shit any more. I am glad I met some liberal Christians online, because I thought ALL Christians were like them and hated every single one I met for ages. It took me years to finally see that not all are like the ones where I live.
