Truly great news.

Second, it's not just people too young to remember the Clinton years that Hillary needs to introduce- or reintroduce- herself to if she wants to gain their votes. A lot of people who are far older than Charlie are quite frankly disengaged from the political process. Others are paying attention, but don't have a particularly favorable opinion of Hillary Clinton. (Not talking about the unpersuadables, but there are undecideds she will need to reach if she expects to be the nominee and eventually president.)

Personally, I think it's a mistake to dodge the press. I get why she would- they have a 25 year history of attacking the Clintons- but it comes across as arrogant and entitled, and reinforces some of people's negative impressions of her. She would do well to not just say, in essence- "I stand by my record". She needs to make the case.

I'm pretty sure the gist of it was that the candidates "need to come to ME if they want my vote." cherokeeprogressive May 2015 #9
