Pump a kid up on religion, demonstrate to him through your words and actions that men are proxies for God and that women are basically livestock, combine that with some raging hormones... is it any wonder he did what he did? What he did was abhorrent and he needs to pay the price, but in my view his parents are just as culpable. They need to pay the same price, plus a little extra for raising their firstborn son a monster.
