Political agenda: Jim Bob (left) is pictured alongside his eldest son, Josh (center), and Mike Huckabee, whom he endorsed in 2008 in line with his intention to seek out conservative Christian candidates and work to get them elected. During Jim Bob's years in state office Josh accompanied his father and was homeschooled

Presidential campaign: In January 2012, 12 of the Duggar children joined Jim Bob in Iowa to campaign for then-presidential candidate, Rick Santorum (pictured right front). Donning their Sunday best, they posted for photos with Santorum volunteers and fans, and spoke of how Santorum 'stands up for what is right'
