26. I think this situation is a little different than with Santorum

Santorum being an awful human being reflects on him and he didn't direct his hatred toward his own children (unless one of them is gay and hasn't come out yet).

But the crimes committed by the Duggar family were largely committed against their own daughters who share the same last name. So making the name synonymous with the crime, effectively marks the daughters as well.
