He and Wasserman are birds of a feather, and Wasserman threatened to disenfranchise the Florida Progressive Caucus because they had the gall and the nerve to dare prefer Alan Grayson as a candidate for Rubio's Senate seat.
IMO, he is not even a EX-repuke, he just bought a "D" jersey to conveniently cover up the "R". Or just stuck a sticker on, or something. There is an effort to make him look all shiny and liberal, going on, I think.

A few years back, Wasserman actually supported a GOP friend of hers in a race.
