Hillary and inevitability: was there this kind of intra-party kvetching over Gore? [View all]

I realize the 2000 election was pre-DU, but I'm curious: does anyone recall this kind of heartburn over Gore's domination of the 2000 primary? I don't -- I don't remember Dems being upset at all by his dominance, even those Dems (like me) who voted for Bradley. Am I mis-remembering?

EDIT: Please not I am NOT talking about the general and Nader. I'm asking if there was this kind of complaining about Gore having no meaningful competition in the primaries.
