OTOH, it was stupid to be on national TV with yachts going back and forth in the background, not a single person representing any diversity on the platform, and an angry speech with terms like "revolution" and "oligarchy".

I would think most winning politicians get off to a better start.

The good news is that the national media didn't make a big deal out of it, so he'll get a chance to do better next time.
