are paid Republican stooges and they alone are responsible for misleading the public on many issues that needed good reporters instead of credulous yes-men. Yes, people died because of them. The owners these people work for are ruthless partisans who spend millions to protect their good reputation, and acquired decades ago, now used to convince people that eternal war is honorable and torture should be overlooked.

I'm sorry if this is news to your daughter, congrats on her getting a great job, seriously! I hope she can make change from the inside. I too worked many years for a highly trustworthy organization, cbayer, a "PBS News Show". Gradually, as an insider and fact-checker, I discovered they too are in utter thrall to the Republican Military Industrial Complex. So is the AP. It is not lazy fact checking. It happens far too often, and only in a certain context, i.e., to protect their own.
