I see that Pickler has some really questionable events in her history, including sloppy journalism.

Fournier hasn't been at the AP for five years, but it appears that he really was instrumental in moving the AP to the right while he was there.

My daughter is a freelancer and takes what she can get. I brought her up because I haven't gotten any sense from her that the AP is partisan.

Well, this hurts their credibility whether this was intentional or not.

Interesting insights on the PBS show. I've heard others with negative reports, although I'm not convinced that the problems you encountered are pervasive at PBS.

Thanks for your work. We have gotten way to lax about our journalistic standards, as can be seen everyday on this site. If it's on the internet, it must be true. We have got to teach our children to be fanatical fact checkers.
