when NEWT was the Asshole of the Year. When Newt got the boot, and Livingston crashed-and-burned, a lot of people thought that Hastert's past would come out. There was a lot of mumbling about it, but the media never bit. This was an open secret on the Hill, just like Newt's relationship with Calista, back when he was excoriating Clinton for far milder indiscretions.

This isn't about "gay corruption," though--it's about an inappropriate senior-subordinate relationship. Teacher/coaches, no matter what their gender or orientation, shouldn't be fussing with students/athletes, no matter what their ages.
