Maybe you can write off the thousands who came for his kickoff in his hometown, but it says something when his events in Iowa are all overflowing and when he attracts this kind of crowd in Minneapolis. I confess to being shocked, but I think it demonstrates a pretty strong vein of frustration and anger, within the democratic party, with politics as usual, and disgust with the influence of corporate money on our party. I think it demonstrates that folks are looking for new approaches to problems and that there's a real hunger for candidates who give voice to that.
I am not claiming that these folks constitute a majority of dems, but we may well be a much larger group than anyone credited.
Bravo Minneapolis.
