Thank you calimary. I totally agree. From day one of his first term(a fact I'm sure you know) the despicable GOP was busy planning their agenda: NEVER, EVER, agree with Obama on ANYTHING, period. NEVER give him ANY victories.

In 1968, many progressives stayed home instead of voting for Humphrey because their candidate McCarthy lost in the primaries. Thus Richard Nixon won. Some progressives need to grow up too.

To reiterate what you wrote, no one is perfect. For anyone to fight through all the shit he has had to, to get anything done is amazing. And yet he achieved a lot. Ditto on everything you wrote about the GOP.
