123. What's yer issue, CreekDog?

I graduated in 1984 from a fine institution in Manhattan and moved back to California, where I had lived before moving from the SF Bay Area (Rockridge) to a loft on Broadway at Bleeker.

The Bleeker gig was short lived and I took a ground floor garden apartment on Sullivan after that, free rent in exchange for being the building super.

After that I moved to East Houston and when I graduated I sublet that to a friend and moved back to California-- Sunnyvale.

I was recruited that same summer to return to NYC and a friend who rented an apartment on the 14th floor of one of the towers on Roosevelt Island let me stay there- he was a long haul truck driver for North American Van Lines.

It had a beautiful view but was temporary. Fortunately, I still held the lease on East Houston and after a few months my friend moved out and I moved back in.

Now how about explaining what is so funny about that, my good friend?
