We're trying. 
We just elected a new Democratic mayor who is making inclusion a big part of his vision for the city. It's so refreshing after six years of conservative Mayor Sullivan, who actually vetoed an equal rights ordinance that our Assembly passed in 2012. That won't be happening the next time it comes around.
You should have told me you were here, we could have met up somewhere.
