80. I got really excited for a second.

I thought I was going to read that Clinton was speaking about the dinner in general. I see that my excitement was misplaced. The WHCD is nothing more than a party to allow journalists to congratulate each other on the fantastic job they do (at sensationalizing the news for profit). I recognize that the money generated from the event goes to scholarships and education but I just find the whole event to be a celebration of greed and fame. Most of the news providers in this company are owned by a handful of companies and all the media cares about is increasing revenue. One needs to look no further than the feeding frenzy the media engages in whenever a tragedy occurs. Sloppy reporting doesn't matter so long as ratings increase. Hollywood celebrities are there for no other reason than fame. The whole "event" offends me to be honest.
