DNC Member calls Bernie "Crazy" - Wow. Apologize now.
Jun 05, 2015 4:51pm PDT by cdub24
Oh wow - I'm seriously mad as hell now.
From the article on USNEWS Is Hillary Ready for More Debates?
"Our candidates, with the exception of Bernie Sanders, aren't a bunch of crazy people. I don't worry about them saying something that would hurt the party brand." I think getting our ideas out there in the mainstream would benefit," says Boyd Brown, a Democratic National Committee member from South Carolina and an O'Malley supporter. "The more debate, the better."
Oh good Lord. Boyd Brown... What about Bernie's platform is crazy?
Is it crazy... to fight income equality?
Is it crazy... to have Wall St. and the wealthy pay their fair share in taxes?
Is it crazy... to stop companies shipping our jobs overseas?
Is it crazy... to want to rebuild roads and bridges to put people back to work?
Is it crazy... to want to break up the big banks?
Is it crazy... to want medicare for all?
Is it crazy... to expand social security benefits?
Is it crazy... to want to make public universities free?
Is it crazy... to want to make paid vacation time?
Is it crazy... to want to free universal pre-k?
Is it crazy... to fight climate change?
Is it crazy... to want to raise the minimum wage to $15?
Boyd Brown is an O'Malley supporter... and O'Malley must be freaking crazy too because his platform page supports most of those things as well.
It's ridiculous. Democrats need to be building each other up and not tearing each other down. Buying into the bull** that Bernie is crazy is absolutely pathetic and it is something that the DNC needs to retract RIGHT NOW.

Using surrogates is a tried and true method of keeping dirt off of the candidate.

I find it odd that Brown would say so. Some of his famous speech could easily be from Bernie.
