Pakistan was never an ally. They were turncoats at ever intersection. They were unreliable and denied US access. The Theatre is all about gettin Bin Laden anyway. I don't call that theatre. There was no pretense, they was a real fear that the event may not have worked at all. Then the real fall out would have been disastrous.
