26. I love the double standard

The old testament is important - gays are bad
The old testament is irrelevant - 12 wives are ok (unless you are mitts Great-Great-Grandfather)
The old testament is important - capital punishment
The old testament is irrelevant - bad to eat pork

I don't understand how someone with a straight face can both acknowledge the important of the old testament and dismiss the relevance of the old testament simply if it is something they believe in or not.

Back when I was a Christian it seem I was taught that being a hypocrite was wrong.
