(44,171 posts)has been a national journalist based in the Capital since starting as a radio announcer in 1973. She was born in 1936 in WDC where she was raised, educated and resides. Ms. Rehm's heritage is Arab American from Anatolia (Turkey) and Christian. A seasoned journalist needs a better excuse than using a FB comment as a source, and should know not to harangue a US Senator about anything, including 'other Israeli citizens of Congress' ? According to Wiki, Ms. Rehm is 78, has had a long career and her husband passed in 2014.
For a bit I was put out but am fine now, we have a long road and a dirty campaign as you say. And forget the apology now, it's pointless. Good for you husband's efforts and the Bernie items. Bernie rocks!
