She self identified as African-American. So what would she have been lying about? Lets put it another way. Lets say a transgender woman is applying at college. And she checks the "female" box on the application. Is she lying? No, she's a female. Conversely, if Mrs. Dolezal checks off that she is African-American, is she lying? What is the difference?
