You're promoting a candidate who holds major policies that directly contradict the express will of the actual people who make up the party, who won't take questions about that expectations gap (or any other subject), and who gives an strong appearance of using prior office as a means to personal enrichment while leaving no tangible gains for the people she had a duty to serve.

Previous answers to these questions have included citations of poll numbers, claims of electability and/or inevitability, attacks on detractors, and straight-up false claims. So it shouldn't be unexpected that people in general are not going to be receptive to more such disrespect from a candidate who is asking for their vote. That the candidate is visibly traumatized by the prospect of actually appearing in person and interacting with the great unwashed plebes like ourselves is not helping the case any.
