the main problems seem to be corporate chicken farming operations, a plethora of septic systems shockingly close to Corps property, and a huge amount of wildlife doing what they do in the woods -- not to mention effluent discharged into the lake from the Northwest Corridor. This lake has a huge watershed area and 487 miles of shoreline. It'll be a while before I'm comfortable swimming, skiing, or scuba diving there again. It's a shame ... but hopefully it will be able to recover soon ... this time.
