Is it todays big news story? Yes, undoubtedly.

We actually don't know much about it's real national significance.

If this was a result of say 5 such attempts across the country at Black churches it would be much more certain.

As it is, it seem to be the act of one person, against one venue. It was indeed horrific. But, How do we identify this one event as nationally significant? I question the notion that minutes dedicated to the story on CNN or Fox is meaningful in this regard.
