The only online resource Google produced that referenced Joe's whereabouts said that he returned to FL within 3 hours of Ms. Klausutis' body being found. There are numerous articles, etc., about the outrageously incompetent medical examiner and Ms. Klausutis' bungled autopsy, rumors of an affair, etc., but nothing that puts Joe in FL at the time of her death.
I have no love for Joe at all, but I also loathe the tabloid-esque whispering campaigns that accuse, without actually accusing. Members of our party are far, far more often the focus of this deplorable activity, and I cannot pretend that it's not equally reprehensible when it involves the GOP.
I'll keep looking, but as far as I can determine, there's no way Joe could have murdered Ms. Klausutis himself.
