43. I am so sorry for your pain Ranger.

I don't understand the racism except that it is almost idolized by certain people and not just in the south. Something that I haven't heard in any of the news or mentioned in anything I've read is about the idiot Trump's hate speech as he announced he was running for President. He said it about Mexicans but I'm sure he said it to feed into hatred against anyone who isn't as white as him. He said: "I'll stop the Mexicans from coming here. They come here and rape our women and bring drugs and crime with them."

I have to ask, if people who are campaigning to run this country can feel like it's okay to talk that way, what hope is there for us as Americans? I'm an old white woman, I am sure there have been racists in my family's past and maybe there are some now, but for the most part we have been taught to live and let live. I can't begin to understand the fear that you have to live with daily Ranger but what I can do is say I'm sorry, I know that these were 9 wonderful people were killed for nothing but the color of their skin. It makes me sick.

I don't know if this post makes a lot of sense when I read it over but I think it expresses some of what I feel about this.
