... unless the perpetrators screamed racial epithets and clearly stated "I did this because they were black (or any PoC)".

Clearly I was wrong .... even when the vermin clearly affiliates with racist causes (apartheid error flags etc), clearly states that their heinous acts were based on clearly defined racists ideas .... there are (as evidenced by the OP) those that STILL deny the racist motivation.

This was a hate crime .... motivated by RACISM .... end of story
