84. Scarborough's Theology Tainted With The Stench Of Right-Wing Christer-anity

Preacher Scarborough's theology is tainted with the stench of right-wing Christer-anity, the pseudo-doctrine that holds that to feed the hungry is by gutting government nutrition programs, to heal the sick is done by supporting rural and inner-city health clinic closures, to clothe the naked is best done by piling scorn and humiliation on those who need it, to welcome the stranger is best done by massive race-based police dragnets and deportations, and to house the homeless is done by cutting funds for housing assistance programs. Considering how much attention Scarborough and his ilk pay to the alleged perils of gays and how little they pay to the issues of racism and violence, I believe there is more than ample reason to question what sorts of Christians they are, or if they are even Christians at all.

But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.
