I don't know if it's just me or what, but they (the MSM) seem worse than ever in regard to how they foment this hatred- in subtle and not so subtle ways. Idk, but maybe I'm just noticing it more since the Trayvon Martin case and all of the despicable things that have happened since?
In any event, they definitely seem more than a little culpable with things like calling peaceful protests 'riots', and black people 'thugs' (ect.).
Also, doesn't it seem as if this country's collective mood has become more hateful and hostile lately? It's downright scary imo, since this is how fascist countries behave. They start by picking on vulnerable groups in society such as minorities, immigrants, ect and expand their hate from there once they've achieved 'socially acceptable' forms of bullying, or worse... We are seeing it all the time now, it appears. Stormfront, the KKK, and other white supremacist-type groups are nothing new, but they seem to be attracting an alarmingly high number of people to them in recent years.
I don't know what, if anything, can be done about all of this crap going on, but I sincerely hope things turn around soon. This sick BS has got to end!
Sorry about the rambling rant, but I just feel so useless and helpless when it comes to what has been happening to the targets of this hatred. I don't see how things can continue to go on this way...
It's good that you are trying to make more people aware of the SPLC, tho.
