Mississippi to launch his 1980 campaign as GOP nominee. Philadelphia was a tiny town of only about 5,000 and had no significance except as a holy shrine of the Ku Klux Klan in the south as the scene where the three civil rights workers, a black man, a Jew and a white man were murdered. Yet Reagan continues to be referenced with reverence and the confederate flag continues to be flown. Ronald Reagan and that flag continue to get respect, signs of deep psychopathy.
