What did you think, "WE are the ones WE'VE been waiting for" meant?
The problem was that the minute Obama was elected, "we" became "him" for many here. "Why isn't HE doing something about this? Why isn't HE achieving everything he said he'd do?"
This need for Sanders supporters to believe that he is the first politician to promote the idea that it takes "the people" to effect change is absolutely startling.
"Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what YOU can do for your country." I guess you've never heard of that one either?
Bernie is very adept at highlighting the importance of the wheel - there's no need to pretend he invented it.
