(10,538 posts)I will be voting for the most Progressive candidate, if that is Hillary in the General election, yes I will vote for her. I am not in to cutting my nose off to spite my face.
Would you vote for Bernie if he defeats Hillary in the Primary?
Hillary is personal friends with all of the power brokers in the world. She is getting huge sums of money personally and to her campaign. I am not comfortable with that if I have an option of someone who is not beholden to huge, wealthy, powerful Donors. I don't know how anyone could be, but I respect their right to be that way.
If 87% of democrats think she is correct on the issues (very general statement, what poll was this?) then us Bernie supporters have our work cut out for us to point out the differences in policy (to the extent she provides her stands on all of the issues Bernie has already laid out).
I think the TPP issue is very telling as she has a conflict of interest and remains mute on the issue. On the one hand, the Donors by and large, support TPP and stand to benefit greatly, on the other hand the Agreement will screw most Americans, many of whom support her or come from her Party. She loses support from one side or the other by taking a stand on the issue. I believe that if she was in office she would be supporting the TPP based on past comments, besides, that's what all that money was for, to do what THEY WANT!
