5. large scale refusal to participate is in part responsible - complacency

I don't say it's 100% the problem but - it played a large part in how we got here. 1940s - 1980s people became complacent. The robber barons were scheming the whole time. They've unleashed their vile plan upon us largely unawares - until the past 10-15 years or so. Now they have their hooks in deep and corruption in what is supposed to be "our" government is massive. And people thus become even more complacent and give up. But the only way we'll ever fix this is to fight back. Massively. MASSIVELY.and LONG TERM. It's not going to happen any other way. It's going to take what Sanders calls a REVOLUTION to defeat this beast. It's grown out of control - partially because we LET it.
