16. K&R There are always a few who determine the direction for the many.

Even to the detriment of their own. They will lead them by the hand into false treaties, into slavery, into gas chambers, into assured misery as long as it profits them.

There are some who don't abdicate responsibility to their neighbors. There are some who take the defense of democracy, of the weak & voiceless, of the needs of the many above the needs of a few, seriously.

There are others that do all they can to advance the interests of multinational corporations.

The more one donates to voice of greed, the less ones own voice could heard above it and the less seriously it can be taken when it is.
