Even at his young age, I have more regard for his insight and advice on social-political issues, than for that of those I've worked with for longer than he's been alive. Obviously, I've had some influence on him, but not only did he grow up knowing the three gentlemen he mentioned, but he's had formal (and informal) educational opportunities very different from my own. I learn a lot from him!

I wonder sometimes if there were no political parties how people would respond to certain issues.
