Not a purge, nor a ban, nor any destruction-- simply some state houses refusing to celebrate the primary goal of the failed 4-year secessionist states, and the free market reacting to negative publicity.

However, should you wish to purchase a confederate battle flag, fly it from your porch whilst sipping a mint julip and whistling Dixie to celebrate your interpretation of history, feel free to-- no government agency will prevent you from doing so.

Maybe post a picture for us...
