3. O'Keefe's stock in trade is truthiness, not truth

Since, as noted philosopher Homer Simpson once opined, you can use facts to prove anything that's even remotely true, trafficking in truthiness is actually a much higher calling. O'Keefe has to carefully determine what it is his audience wants to hear, and tailor his message and video accordingly. So-called documentary film makers have the luxury of pointing a camera at actual events, and the footage just creates itself. O'Keefe has to work doubly and triply hard to create a video depicting the truthiness of a situation. So let's have a little compassion and understanding for the head honcho at the Lie Factory, huh?
