91. I think it's more enjoyable to listen to baseball on the radio

Than to watch it on TV.

A sports aside, I used to board op for Larry Munson (voice of the Georgia Dawgs), and was very sad to hear he passed on recently.

He was a good guy to me, but I was very pregnant when I produced the last shows for him, and he was absolutely convinced I was going to give birth on the studio floor and he was going to have to deliver the child. He was constanly cutting in on my mic (while callers were on the air but they couldn't hear) saying "Tsiyu! Stop bending over like that. You're going to go into labor! Tsiyu! Stop reaching for those commercial tapes. You're going to go into labor!"

I finally found a one-page emergency delivery sheet - complete with illustrations - and posted it on the studio bulletin board just to tease him. And, no, he didn't end up delivering my baby.

He was a lot of fun and had a very distinctive voice and will be missed, though I think he had retired a few years back.
