Oh well, it will turn up some time - or not.

You have to wonder about a place that would let that slide - until eaten by a customer.

When I was in school, I worked summers for a commercial construction contractor. We had a contract at the Mars Candy factory in Oak Park Il. One time we were on top of a 16,000 gallon chocolate mixing tanks building a plastic barrier wall to protect the tanks from dust for some work we were doing next door. One of the carpenters set a handful of nails on the top of the tank. Mind you, the tank's top plates were closed and sealed. A plant inspector showed up and nearly had a heart attack seeing those loose nails lying there. He told us if ONE nail had gone missing they would have to flush the entire 16,000 gallons of chocolate.

I was always impressed with the cleanliness of the Mars factory. Not to mention the impeccable landscaping of the plant. My brother did some work across town at Brach's Candy and said the place was a pig-sty.

Of course, IIRC, the Mars family was on the list of big contributors for the fight against "the death tax" Oh well.
