19. Is it possible he's trying to draw a line between taking down the flag and bashing the south?

I don't know jack about Webb* but I'm not seeing anything in the article where he's defending flying the confederate flag. Some of our southern DUers might appreciate not getting the broad brush treatment and attacks on the general culture of the south while they too support the flag coming down.
