34. They have been sued and had to pay huge fines because of that and the are STILL doing it?

When the big banks serviced mortgages, they did the same thing. They got sued so many times they ended up selling off the servicing biz
to NON regulated companies like Green Tree, which started out as a loan company.
Then Green Tree ( and Nation Star, and Ocwen (which is now selling off their servicing biz) did all sorts of illegal stuff and got caught.

You have to send a registered letter to them, the kind that makes them sign for it and you get the signed receipt back.

She was a wonderful contributor of mortgage information and was cheerfully suing her mortgage company because they did not have the legal paperwork to even be billing her.
Sadly, she had a severe stroke and seems to have passed, she was a wealth of info. on the mortgage game.
