86. There was a course during my microbiology degree

Jul 2015

It was dubbed "the course that makes you terrified of touching anything". We were sent forth to gather samples from whatever surface we felt like, and then cultured it to see what grew.

Everything is covered in germs. We even got a hit on the distilled water.

Wash all you want. Shake all you want. Its really not going to make a difference unless you're treating a wound, or you currently have (or just touched someone with) a communicable disease.
