129. Why did we allow sanctions to be lifted from that Soleimani general dude and others,

but didn't get our hostages in return? That's my question. If we lifted sanctions from certain problematic individuals in Iran's army or guard or whatever, why didn't we say, "OK, we'll do that if you return our four Americans"? The President can't say it was only about nukes, when there was stuff in the deal that CLEARLY wasn't about nukes but benefitted only Iran.
