Some share more guilt than others, but every human on Earth has a hand in the environmental destruction we're seeing today. All animals, by the nature of their existence, take a toll on the Earth. When a species like humanity enters a period of runaway expansion like we're seeing, deleterious environmental impacts are unavoidable. Even with the most fair and equitable of systems, humanity would be destroying the global ecosystem due to its sheer numbers.
Human population needs to be drastically reduced. It will happen eventually, one way or the other.
