58. Not bad but it doesn't have the power, the edge of the word in question.

I have heard that word and prostitute used my whole life to describe someone who abandons their principles. i.e. an artist who forgos his/her art to seek after fame and or fortune has prostituted their art. It bothers me that we are in danger of limiting the broad range of words because some can't get past one definition.

What started all this foofaraw, and would it have caused so much turmoil if it had been directed at a man, say Trump?
