Because of the way that video and audio streams are processed separately during format conversion, I'd like to know more about how the video went from the recording device to publication.

Yes, krufty conversion software can make a hash out of the video while rendering continuous audio.

The allegation here is that the video has been "edited" instead of screwed up during format conversion. The thing is, the audio is continuous through parts where the video jumps to out of synch portions.

So, are you saying that someone simply chopped up the video and dubbed in entirely different audio?

You are saying it has been "doctored". I am saying that the published video is clearly not accurate. I understand why you believe those are the same two things, but they are not.
