British police killed hundreds of people in Ireland in the 20th century.

Google "Bloody Sunday 1920" for starters then go on to Black and Tans and Auxiliary Divisions of the RIC.

That's before we get to B Specials and using .30 calibre browning machine guns for riot control in the 1960's and "shoot to kill" and collusion from the 1970's to the 1990's.

But then Irish people don't count as far as the British are concerned.
