14. Yup. Seems like the more awards he picked up abroad, the more his negatives rose at home.

I agree with you, and maintain that he was turned during one of his many trips abroad, and I never thought of him as a "whistleblower", and eventually the American people caught up as well. I still can't help but wonder why he's so anxious to get out now? He's a hero in Mother Russia. However, I see your point about "placing his faith in the Russians".

I also agree that it was never about "internet privacy". Remember when he thought leakers "should be shot in the balls"?
