just as no way of behaving will protect them, no evidence of innocence, no age or gender, and no level of education, status, or wealth (remember how Henry Louis Gates was treated in his own home?).

Yeah, some places are much worse than others, but in this country any black person is always at risk of being targeted by a racist LEO. I am glad Obama will continue to get Secret Service protection after laving office, because I could imagine some cop or PD Sandra Blanding** him, Michelle, or one of their girls, for DWB without such protection.

**Yes, I think we should force the American public to remember what happened to her by immortalizing her in the phrase "to Sandra Bland" an innocent black person.
